How buying works
The first two steps work in this demo. The last two need partners that are not connected, so they are shown as unavailable rather than simulated.
Make an offer
Enter an amount in the listing currency, with an optional note. The offer is recorded in your demo workspace and expires after 7 days.
Agree a price
The seller accepts, declines or counters. Accepting records an agreement only. It does not move money or a domain.
Escrow partner
Payment would be held by a licensed escrow partner. OrbitProbe never holds funds.
Not connectedRegistrar transfer
The domain would move between registrar accounts and be confirmed by both sides before any payout.

Have a domain to sell?
Portfolio domains stay private. Listing one is a separate, explicit step with a control check, and you see what you would receive before publishing.
Marketplace questions
Can I actually buy one of these domains?
No. Every listing is demonstration data under reserved .example and .test names, which can never be registered. Nothing here is purchasable.
What happens when I make an offer?
The offer is saved in this browser's demo workspace. No seller is contacted, no e-mail is sent and no money moves. You can counter, withdraw or let it expire to see the flow.
Are the 8% and 2% fees final?
No. They are demonstration rates used to show how a fee breakdown would read. Launch rates are undecided, and escrow or transfer fees from partners are unknown until quoted.
Why are prices not converted to my currency?
A converted price needs a cited rate and date. Without one it would be invented, so each listing stays in the currency its seller chose.
Does adding a domain to my portfolio list it for sale?
Never. Portfolio domains are private. Listing is a separate, explicit step that starts with a control check and ends with a publish action you take yourself.
Does the control check prove who owns a domain?
No. A DNS TXT token only shows that someone could edit the zone at the time of the check. In this demo no DNS query is made at all, and ownership is not verified.
Looking for a name nobody has registered yet?
That is a registration through a provider, not a marketplace sale between owners.
Later scope: auctions, lease-to-own and automated transfers.
